India update 5.5

Just a quick update to share some exciting news:

The monsoon rains have come and some of us were dancing in the streets :-)

We have also completed our service work at the hospital here in Jhansi completing a mural, painting walls in the nursing school, pruning and inventory work. We even made the local news with our projects -- I would forward it, but alas it is in Hindi :-)
One of the highlights of our time here in Jhansi has been the auto-rickshaw rides and many kids have expressed sorrow this afternoon when they learned we would have a bus for our trip tomorrow rather than more rickshaws. We were driving around from the hotel and hospital crowding up to 9 people into these small contraptions.
Tomorrow, we will visit Orcha, a 14th century palace and temple complex as well as a unique recycled paper making facility run completely by village women as a way to support their families :-)
From there, we will take the much anticipated overnight train to Varanasi. The kids are quite excited to expericence sleeping on the train, expanding their repatoire of Indian transportation methods.
